Think back to a time in your life when you had to do without some aspect of the security that so many people today take for granted: comprehensive health insurance coverage, a reliable car that starts on the first try, a regular paycheck. How well were you able to deal with the situation?Did you shrug and think that if you had it before, you will have it again, or did you constantly obsess about the bad things that could happen as a result of going without?

Not only are you betting that you will succeed at business, but since being an entrepreneur spills over the borders into all areas of your life, you will in essence be gambling with your personal life. Right now, aren’t you just a bit unsure about how the process of starting a business and doing what you need to do to make it thrive will affect your family, friends, and your own well-being?

It’s possible to be aware of some of the risks connected with being an entrepreneur before you open your doors for the first time, but it’s also important to admit what you don’t know.
