Do Business Well

You work when, where and how you like.

Traditional’ business is highly regulated. You work a 45-hour week. You have to be at work during the ‘core’ hours, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. You have to travel to work and consequently live within reasonable distance of your employment. None of these principles apply to network marketing. You can work as many hours per week as you wish, when you wish, and you can live where you want to. There is tremendous flexibility.

This does not mean that all business people have dubious ethical standards. There are many fine business leaders whose moral characters are of the highest order, but the capitalist system, governed as it is by a profit motive, often results in the seller pushing through a sale because her back pocket is affected.

In network marketing, unless you put your downline (and customers) first, you will not succeed. And you can only build your downline by developing a trusting relationship that inspires confidence and repeat business.

You set your own work rates and you can be as productive as you wish.

Traditional business results in a declining work ethic. A typical office worker will say: ‘Why work harder? I am not rewarded for the extra effort.’

In contrast, network marketing results in a growing work ethic. Success is the self-priming pump for extra effort. As you and your downline become more successful, you want to reach out and share the good news and opportunity with others. If you want to work 70 to 80 hours per week, there is nothing to stop you. Because it is a self-managed business, there are no unions, no shops and offices acts, no wage determinations and no industrial councils.

You can make it a family business.

In many homes the husband and wife work together as a team. They experience and share the joy of growth together. For those couples who would like to spend more time together, this is the perfect opportunity.

You retire without financial worries.

Research shows that only six per cent of the population have enough money to live on comfortably when they retire. Network marketing offers you the continued opportunity to generate an income. There is no legislated retirement age. You decide when you want to retire. And you will know that if you die, your spouse still has a very solid business that will continue to grow without you. It’s like leaving the legacy of a growing will. You leave behind a business that your spouse or children can inherit and which they can continue successfully.

You have the opportunity to achieve your potential. Many of us know people who do not quite make it to the top. The reason may simply be a personality difference with a manager they report to. As a result, that individual, as talented and capable as she is, stagnates in a non- growth position. What happens? That person loses motivation and eventually, due to the lack of personal progress or development, a feeling of inferiority or inadequacy creeps in.

We know this need not be the case. There are hundreds of examples of people who have burst out of the chains restricting them, by taking up the challenge of network marketing. They know that, given the right opportunity, time and resources, they can match any challenge.
